Welcome to our Landscape section.

We just added this service to our job description.  The plans are designed by
Cynthia.  She has been a Horticultural Consultant for 10 years. Has been working with shrubs and flowers, in the growing field, as well as in the sales field.  If you have any questions concerning gardening, or plants feel free to call or leave a message on Cynthia's email.

We just downloaded the pictures from our most recent landscaping job.   We redesigned the flower/shrub beds around the house, planted a few trees and shrubs along with perennial and annual flowers, and added in an island. Here are the before and after photos..

This is a picture of the porch side of the house.  There was a weeping cherry, rhododendron, and a hosta or two here, and red mulch and no designated flower bed.  There was also a large hole dug out next to the step that needed fixing. (obviously the before picture!)

Another view of that same area. Boy did we need to trim that cherry!!!   (that is Padraic in the background He was a big help that day!)

Now the After!  Boy look what a trim can do for a tree, some edging, and some mulch combined with a few shrubs and plants can do!

We only added some vinca, dianthus, petunias, and a hosta for some flowering plants.  Then we added some decorative rocks for interest.  Then added some shrubs a golden juniper, some azaleas, a miniature rose bush, euonimous, and a bayberry.  What a differance!  We didn't think the red mulch made a big impact with the house, so we used a black root mulch.

This is at the front of the house,  again, an  empty no style area.  So...we decided to change this!

Now we have entry Impact!  We removed the overgrown hosta, and removed the rhododendron.  We changed out the mulch from the red to the black.  Again to keep the balance with the other side, we planted the same shrubs and perennials, including Salvia and coreopsis.  We also planted a Japanese Split leaf maple tree in the corner to match the weeping cherry on the other end of the house.  The home owner wanted to plant some grasses in the yard so we planted them on the side of the house (you can see a few of them along the edge of the house behind the split leaf maple)

This is Kato, he is the homeowners dog.  He was admiring the bee balm we planted along the garage.  Look at those blue eyes!

This is Ruth and Gary's house all finished.  In a few years when the shrubs have filled in a bit..This will look even better.  They wanted a low maintenance landscape.  Thanks for letting us post your house on our website!

Here is Colin,  He was tired out from doing the clean up.  Thanks Padraic and Colin for doing a great job of cleaning up!
